Issue: beeing redirected to home page after login - SEO URL mod

One of my clients has Zen-Cart 1.3.5 with SEO URLs. The issue is that after login, regardless of where you come from within the store, you are always beeing redirected to the home page. From what I understand - the ZC has a built in module (navigation_history.php) that keeps track on the user's navigation and after login the store should redirect you back to where you came from. I also understand that there are no reported bugs for this feature with 1.3.5.

Not necessarily true. There is a very long support thread on that mod. Studying it will reveal a number of complexities and sensitivies in the module and in each individual's hosting configuration/environment, as well as a number of cases where people implemented it incorrectly or incompletely.

STEP ONE: Turn the mod off. What happens ?

I turned it off and tried - no change.

Try removing all the rewriterule and rewritecond statements from your .htaccess file.

Then try changing your setting in Admin->Configuration->My Store->Missing Page Check ... to say Off.
