I am having a problem. I have searched this thread but did not find this issue, or I guess I did not search for the right keywords. I am having text all run together and overlapping on the products page. The image below is an example:

You are using really big text.

When you define that really big text in the stylesheet, you need to also define a larger line-height.

Also, I need a link to help further.

i'm using your template without the right side menu as per your instructions.
But I need the languages option............
do you have suggestions on how I can do it in an elegant way without using the right side menu?

I am working on a new layout for my website. I have a few questions, I took a screenshot to better explain my self.

1-2 I want to add the shadow which continues on the bottom to these 2 spots as well and I can't figure out how to do this.

3- I would like to add an additional button to the menu and I have no clue how to go about this.

I also get this weird error opening the webpage in IE.

If I open using URL www.axlesforless.com/new
I get an error on the bottom saying that the access is denied to csshover.htc

If I open from axlesforless.com/new I don't get the same error message??? :unsure:

Instead of a background color i use a background image.
I would like to use another image for hovering the menu's, when a category is selected the hover image is used so the vistitor now's what gategory he's browsing :smile:

I have been experimenting with this Newsletter functionality on a test server

The problem is that the Newsletter sidebox, doesn't lay out the radio buttons very effectively, possibly due to the width of the box.

2 Questions

1. How do i fix this

2. how do i go about editing such a sidebox to make the layout as i want it

I've perused the forum, and can't find anything on this matter.

Everything looks fantastic on Firefox and Safari, but if you use IE it's a disaster...
I did add in the .htaccess file the addtype for .htc
Results:

• The drop down menu is not showing up
• the sideboxes moved below the product listing.

Any idea, I read through the thread, but did see anything that would fix that.

Did you notice that your menu is only half finished? For some reason, the rest of the menu isn't loading, and that is your issue. Make sure to upload ALL files in their correct spots. Check, double, and triple check.

Who created that sidebox? That's not the default zencart newsletter box, try asking the creator of that mod.

1-2 Follow the instruction in the stylesheet.css for the narrow header version.

3.open up includes/templates/apple_zen/common/tpl_drop_menu.php and add it there.

4. Read the readme.txt about what you're supposed to add in the .htaccess file.

I just took a look at tpl_drop_menu.php is the drop down menu only that file?

So I reinstalled the template and the drop menu is complete now! Thanks by the way ;-)
However still on IE, the homw page is fine but if you click on a category the sideboxes are displayed on the bottom of the products listing table.
Any idea...

This doesn't happen on a default apple zen install, and I cant seem to see why this might happen on your site. Try loading the default includes/templates/apple_zen/css/stylesheet.css and see if the issue goes away.

I've been working on a zen cart set up at http://www.jadeleonard.com/store. Everything is in working order, however I've got two little niggly layout issues I can't seem to fix.

1. As you can see, the layout has two vertical dark brown strips that enclose the main column. They all align apart from the ones behind the drop-down menu, with that one being 1-2 pixels out either to the left or right (depending on the browser).

The brown strips are a background image behind the drop-down menu. The image is currently set up as "align:center", which seems to be the cause. If I take "align:center" out, the background floats to the far left edge of the browser window. Is there anywhere in the CSS that I can force the drop-menu container to be 606px wide, so it forces the background into aligning with the rest of the layout?

2. If you look at other pages of the website, eg. http://www.jadeleonard.com, the footer information is within the brown vertical strips. I tried putting the background in the footer CSS, but it left gaps. Any suggestions on how to wrap the complete footer with the correct background?

If anything is unclear, please don't hesitate to tell me.
