Disabling the Boxes and Weight - still shows

OK I have disabled the weight from appearing in all sections but it still shows up in the shopping cart. I have attached a picture.

I have turned off all instances of weight:

• a) Admin->Catalog->Product Types->[select your product type]->Edit Layout->Show weight->false
• b) Admin->Configuration->Shipping/Packaging->Display Number of Boxes and Weight Status
• c) Admin->Configuration->index listing / all listing / new listing / featured listing ... turn off the weight on theseI figured that "b" would have removed this but it still shows. I am using the "tare" to calculate large non UPS boxes, and I don't want the customer to see the cart showing multiple boxes when really it is only one box.

I am also using the UPSXML module for shipping.

Any help would be extremely helpful.

Peek in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ...

Shopping Cart - Show Totals
Show Totals Above Shopping Cart?
0= off
1= on: Items Weight Amount
2= on: Items Weight Amount, but no weight when 0
3= on: Items Amount

And peek in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

Display Number of Boxes and Weight Status
Display Shipping Weight and Number of Boxes?

0= off
1= Boxes Only
2= Weight Only
3= Both Boxes and Weight

BUT it didn't remove the information. Is there something else

You might need to compare your UPSXML to our UPS as it may not have all the nice fancy switches in it to manage that ... :smile:
