Adjusting Product Listing

I had a client send in this image: http://originstore1.com/posh/images/sample.gif and she wants her product listing to look like that - is there anyway possible to layout the product listing page like that? I told her I didn't think it was but I just wanted to make sure! Thanks

Re: Adjusting Product Listing

Wellllll ... almost anything is possible.

You might be able to do it with a background image and some fancy footwork on the table spacing ...

Re: Adjusting Product Listing

Actually, this could be done almost entirely with the stylesheet, plus something like dweingart's very simple mod for product listing column identification (search for threads under his name).

Since the product listing is already tagged with odd and even class markers, the image should be able to be switched on that basis, and the backgrounds can be also.

I think the sample has a solid background image with white backgrounds on the products, alternating between even and odd, and of course lots of customized margins and paddings.
