Having problems with product image?

Hello All,

I have read the threads about image handling but for some reason I am having no success. Should I not be able to change the size which my image appears through the "admin/config/images pannel? I have changed several of the sizes and the only one I seem to effect is the new product image in the left side bar?? <https://www.petesboots.com> I must be missing something here. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also is there a specific folder they should be in ie "product images". And what is the _MED & _LRG? I really am a little lost on that as well.

                                                                                                Rich

Re: Having problems with product image?

Admin->Configuration->Images allows you to exercise general constraints (size limits) over images. Can you be more specific about which image you are trying to control on your site?

Images should be placed in the 'images' directory. From there you can create subdirectories to further organize. Not sure if you've looked at the following tutorial which discusses the naming conventions for using alternate _MED and _LRG (optional, but very useful). It will also explain the placement into directories.

Re: Having problems with product image?

Hi Thanks YES I just found it a second ago LOL images, images/medium images/large I believe. Yes I have been in the admin/config/images and have had no success. But that could be because I have had the images in the wrong place to begin with. So I belive it was only grabbing the little one I am going to move the pics and do some renameing and try again.
