Order status emails not working (with edit-orders module installed)

All my other emails seem to go out fine but when i set an order to shipped and hit the update button i get an email error.

I have Edit Orders 1.1 installed also. I think it might be conflicting with the "Integrated Checkout Without an Account" mod in my case.

Anyone have any ideas what i should do?

Also getting an error
"Email Error: Could not instantiate mail function."

If I go back and update again - it says it's updated - but no e-mail and nothing is changed.

Did a test order and the update e-mails are not sending out.
All other e-mails seem to be sending fine.

Yeah I just gave up and uninstalled the edit orders module. Everything is working fine again.

It's a little bit of a PITA - but if you go into reports - customer referral and set the list to the order you need to edit - when you edit the order through there the e-mail gets sent out fine.
I discovered this when looking around on the admin....
