Reservation products

I am wanting to setup a site to reserve rooms to my hotels, condos, etc I know that doing a regular site will work. I like the easy managability of ZEN though. is there any way to add a calender per item that checks room availability. IE: a reservation script ordinarily used in HTML site can I use in description per item??? do you have a script like that?

I don't know of an existing script to do that, but have had a client ask me for the same thing. My initial reaction was that Zen Cart might not be the most appropriate tool for this but after some reflection I realized that actually a most of the foundations needed are already there.

I've sketched out a design that would suit my client and so can confirm that the work needed can be slotted into Zen cart's existing structures, however, there would still be significant custom development needed and that development is not something to try yourself unless you have advanced Zen Cart and database skills and intermediate PHP.
