Address line #2 causes linkpoint failure

I had a customer who lived in an apartment that put his apartment number as #12 in address line 2 (which is actually correct for most places that ask for a 2nd line) and this caused his credit card to not pass with linkpoint. I moved his apartment # to the end of line 1 and disabled line 2 at signup and his transaction went through just fine.

I noticed that line 2 data is listed as suburb in the customer manager -- perhaps there is some conflict in the meaning of this field or how linkpoint api is being used with it.

Re: Address line #2 causes linkpoint failure

What version of Zen Cart?
What version of the Linkpoint module are you using? (ie: did it come with ZC, or did you download it separately as an addon?)
Does it work if he only puts "12" instead of "#12" in the line ?

Zen Cart 1.3.7.1
Database Patch Level: 1.3.7

I'm using the mod that came with zc. We didn't try the 12 instead of #12.

Re: Address line #2 causes linkpoint failure

Not directly connected, maybe, but a similar thing can happen with the NoChex (UK-based) payment mod.

NoChex is doing the standard AVS (Address Verification Checking) on the first line of the address only - they take any digits in address line 1 and add them to the digits in the postcode. So (obviously) the AVS check also fails if the customer has a house name (eg 'Dunroamin') on the first line.
