How can I put an image in the #logoWrapper?

I want to put my site image in the section for the #logoWrapper/Header. AM I going about this all wrong? I "attempted" to edit the css but the tagline is still showing up. Initially I took the tagline out of my header.php file but nothing showed up so I went back to the original configuration. This Is what I have so far from editing my stylesheet.css:

#headerWrapper, #contentMainWrapper, #logoWrapper, #cartBoxListWrapper, #ezPageBoxList, #cartBoxListWrapper ul, #ezPageBoxList ul, #mainWrapper, #popupAdditionalImage, #popupImage {

background-image: http.../ub_store/images/page_images/headerimg.jpg;
}#navColumnOneWrapper, #navColumnTwoWrapper, #mainWrapper {
margin: auto;
}

Is this incorrect? Any help to this noob would cause deity worship.

background-image: url(../images/headerimg.jpg);
height: 123px;
width: 456px;
}

and save the image in /includes/templates/your_template/images/headerimg.jpg.

Note: background images don't take up a definite space on the page, so you will have to specify height and width for it.

Do I put it in the part that I added?

Thanks "OH God of the ZEN"...LOL. Now I'm going to get my tagline thingy right and I will feel okay.
