Payment Help Needed ASAP! YourPay Connect

Here's the deal:

I am using YourPay with Zen Cart, and I can get zen cart to work properly in that you can go through the store, add products, and go all the way to the order confirmation page, but right when you try to confirm the order to send it to YourPay for processing, the page "Cannot be displayed"

I think I am sending YourPay the wrong link, but I could be wrong. In the yourpay control panel, the order submission form info looks like this:

Change these settings to configure YourPay Connect
Order Submission Form
Submission Form URL (text only):
For example:
http://www.yourserver.com/yourstorename/yourorderform.html

or if you are using a secure web server:
https://www.yourserver.com/yourstorename/yourorderform.html

or if you are generating the form in a CGI:
http://www.yourserver.com/yourstorename/yourorderform.cgi

This is what I have come up with, but it still doesn't work:

http://heavensgatecatering.com/store/index.php?main_page=checkout_process

I simply right clicked on properties for the button in step 3 of the checkout process which is supposed to send the order to the Gateway for processing, and copied that URL.

Any Help would be GREATLY appreciated. I am building a website for a woman at my church who owns a catering company, and this is my first online store. I really need to get it up for her soon!

Thanks,
https://www.heavensgatecatering.com

Check that you have these items:
NOTE: cURL is required, and port 1129 must be open for bidirectional communication.
NOTE: You need an SSL certificate on your site if you are collecting credit card information.

Re: Payment Help Needed ASAP! YourPay Connect

I have Curl and Port 1129 Open, but I thought you only had to have an SSL Cert. if you were processing directly through your site?

What I'm trying to do, is use ZenCart to add products to the shopping cart, ect, and then transfer them to https://www.yourpay.com for CC Processing. Is that possible??

Re: Payment Help Needed ASAP! YourPay Connect

Zen Cart's built-in Linkpoint/YourPay API payment module uses the API communications method to process payments.

You're talking about an HTML-page-redirect such as the Linkpoint/YourPay "Connect" service, which Zen Cart doesn't support natively.

Does your host not offer you the ability to add an SSL certificate?
Using HTML-redirected pages is typically less secure than collecting CC info directly on your site and submitting it for processing while the customer watches.

Re: Payment Help Needed ASAP! YourPay Connect

Is there any downloads I could use to make it work, or would I have to use a different cart entirely??

Also, any recommendations on a good shopping cart that would support this???

An SSL certificate can be obtained for as little as $40-$50/yr, and your hosting account might change by $2/mo ... or $24/yr. Some may even set it up at no extra charge.

Then, with SSL set up, you can use the API module quite easily, AND you'll end up having a site that your customers are happier to shop in because their personal information (not only their CC numbers) are protected while shopping.

Godaddy has SSL certs at $20 a year. An SSL cert is really a must have IMO, customers just won't have the same level of confidence, plus you basically have to say, "Your Credit card info might get stolen" in your TOS.

Yuk!! IMO these do not look at all professional.

RapidSSL is available if one looks for $15.00 per year and less if multi years are purchased

I'm a little confused about YourPay in general. The people I'm building the site for registered it, and then the man at the bank simply gave me the Store #, User, and Pass.

Is YourPay, YourPay Connect, and YourPay API all based together, or is each one an individual service that you have to buy. All they are included is what I'm asking.

Also, Is there any detailed information on how to set up the SSl and API Module? Like I said, this is my first time and want to make sure it's secure!

Re: Payment Help Needed ASAP! YourPay Connect

I read in another thread on this site, there is a separate payment module that can be installed for specifically the linkpoint connect service.

Is one of these that?

#2: http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&cPath=40_48&products_id=178

I really need to get this thing online and working, thanks in advance guys!

Re: Payment Help Needed ASAP! YourPay Connect

Your first link is to an outdated Linkpoint/YourPay API module. The newer version of that module is built-in to Zen Cart.

Your second link is to this discussion we're having.

I believe the "Connect" and "API" services are different features one can subscribe to. I'm not sure what cost differences there might be. They're probably detailed on the yourpay website.

Its my understanding that they are both the exact same cost wise.

Re: Payment Help Needed ASAP! YourPay Connect

If there is no cost difference, then just use the Linkpoint API module built-in to Zen Cart.

The prerequisites are:

  • Server must have CURL support
  • Server firewall must be open to allow CURL communication inbound and outbound on port 1129 (you'll have to ask your hosting company about this).
  • SSL Certificate installed to your hosting account
  • Linkpoint/YourPay login credentials supplied by Linkpoint/YourPay
  • PEM file supplied by Linkpoint/YourPay

Re: Payment Help Needed ASAP! YourPay Connect

Does anyone know of a free shopping cart that will work with the YourPay: Connect payment method??
