Advanced Search out of memory

Hi

New install of 1.3.7, upgraded database.

When carrying out a search using the search side box i get the following out of memory error. Any ideas?, is this a server config issue?

It is a VPS

PHP Core - memory_limit value is 32M

PHP is on Version 5.2.3

What are your MySQL memory settings ?
That would seem to be a memory error at the MySQL end.

MySQL Version 5.0.27-standard
MySQL memory limit is 512mb

I suspect you'll need to (likely work with your host to) change or optimize MySQL memory configurations.

Only about 80 products but each product has about six sizes and six colours.

English is the only language.

Would have thought 512mb would be plenty, the message only implies that approx 1mb is needed - might need to get the host to try and increase the memory value and see if it makes any difference.

Strange thing is that it worked OK last week and i have not added any products just been making a few mods and stylesheet changes.

Yes, definitely talk to your host.

If it suddenly stopped working ... then ... something changed. If it wasn't by you ... then ...

32MB is a low value even for a VPS as most are min 256MB or higher and 64MB or higher for php
