Affiliate / Referral Query
Hi!
I have a client who is looking for a referral method rather than a fullblown affiliate system like JROX (which I'm testing as well).
They have their Zencart shop but also have resellers.
If a reseller refers a customer to the shop they all they need to know is
- the customer/shoppers name
- the reseller who referred them
They don't need percentages, order values etc.
They want this transparent to the customer though so a coupon the customer has to enter is no good, it needs to be a link like https://www.mystore.com/store/.........ref=123 or something
I thought at some stage there was an basic system built into Zencart (or was that my OSC haze).
Is there a way to to the reference tag to know who sent each order or is JROX the only way to go, it seems good it just has so many features we don't need!
