Error: Catalog images directory is not writeable

Error: Catalog images directory is not writeable: /home/timercom/public_html/images/

I get this message inside my admin.
I cant manually upload any images to my products.
(I didn't try my bulk uploading yet)

This happened after I made a copy of my site and brought it back up.
(With a different domain name...)

I tried cmod the public_html/images/ folder to 777
I even 777 the images folder in my templete.

Nothing seems to work.

Now the only thing i am thinking is was I supposed to make another change
for where my images paths are???

Are you using ftp to attempt the change or a control panel? If a control panel, you may need to ask your host why you cannot change the settings.

Just noticed I had something wrong in my config files.
