How can I check what modules are installed?

Not sure if this is the right place to post....
Is there a way to check what contributions or add-ons are installed?

The only foolproof way is to do a full compare of the installed files with the release pack from the version of Zen Cart being run (using WinMerge, Beyond Compare, Araxis or similar) and then identify the reasons for the differences.
