Help - my site is down - 1016 Can't open file: 'sessions.MYI' (errno: 145)

I have not done any changes to any settings, and my hosting company claims there is nothing wrong with the database.

Why does my store all of a sudden look like this?

Your MySQL database has a problem with its "sessions" table.

Use your phpMyAdmin to "repair" the table.
You may need to ask your hosting company to repair it for you.

You should be telling them the specific error message:> 1016 Can't open file: 'sessions.MYI' (errno: 145)

I was able to repair the file - or at least it said so in phpMyAdmin

But now I get this message

1030 Got error 127 from storage engine
in:
[delete from whos_online where time_last_click < '1187184435']

BTW - to get to the stores pages the right url is now http://www.commercial-use.com/shop/index.php

Do a repair on the next table listed ... sometimes there can be a few tables that need repair following a crash ...

Check with your hosting site to see if they know why your MySQL server crashed ...

NOTE: This is not something that should happen frequently ...

Usually get this when you have a table over 4GB in size or the mysql has run out of disk space. ( error logs could have filled up )

Contact your host again , is the best thing to do at this point.
