Maximum package weight and and different shippers

Hello,
just a question.

What happens if I use 2 or more different shippers who have different maximum weight for package?

I think ZC can't manage this. So I must hide number of boxes and specify maximum weight for package and costs not really as they are from the shippers but arrange them finding the best 'set' that suite my expeditions, correct?

Question for dev team: Is it planned some work on shipping in next versions?

While Zen Cart does not have this feature built in at the present time, it is on The List of Fun Things to Do for a future release ...

1 it is needed ... like duh, or you wouldn't have asked ... :cool:

2 it bugs me and the rest of the Zen Cart Team that we do not have the flexible control that we feel is required to manage the shipping modules ... and Zen Cart does love to be as flexible as we can possibly make it ... :smartalec:

A search on the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... for the configuration_key of:
SHIPPING_MAX_WEIGHT

might lead you in the right direction for now ...
