Group discounts doesn't work at all for me

I created a group discount and assigned 50% off. I assigned it to my customer profile then went shopping. I am not getting a discount at all.

I tried creating another group discount and then assigned that to my profile. It didn't work either.

What could be wrong?

Figured it out. The problem was I installed another module (tax exempt to be exact) and it assigned the same sort order as Group Discounts. I changed the sort order of one so they'd each have their unique number, and it worked.
