Adding Insurance to Shipping

Hi,

If I am using a table rate shipping calculated per item (for example 1:1.80,999999:0.80) and on top of that, I would like to offer the option of insurance to my customers, how do I do that? By default I will be offering normal Airmail but for larger orders, my customers would prefer insured postage. I cant seem to be able to add more options in the table rate option. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks!

I installed the module, but can't seem to see any changes that enact USPS ioptional insurance. Do I also have to set up something new in the ADMIN?

Hi, you can look at "Optional Shipping Insurance Module". It is discussed here:

Re: Adding Insurance to Shipping

Ever since I have added optional insurance to Shipping, I am now having problems with shipping weights adding togther correctly when multiple items/products are ordered. For some reason the shipping weight is always being totaled to 0.10 pounds for multiple item/product orders, no matter how many items/products are ordered.

Does anyone have any advice/insight here? Thx.

Re: Adding Insurance to Shipping

If you uninstall the Insurance module does it immediately fix the problem?
