How to make: Call For A Shipping Price

Hey guys

I have an online store for hardwood floors and hardwood floors products. http://www.academyfloor.com

The wood flooring (3 first categories) comes in boxes, very heavy boxes which make us have to ship it with the freight system, what makes the shipping cost very expensive using fedex or ups...
I have other shipping solutions, and i can get a lower shipping price for my customers.

I want that every time someone is ordering the floors he won't get any shipping price and will recive a message saying that we will contact him with the shipping price.
I can set all the wood floors to zero (0) weight if it will help... but i want the order to be completed! i don't want that they will get stuck on the shipping page with this message without the abbility to finish the order.

I found some treads talking about this issue but no answers there...

Um, it may be that none of us understand why anyone would want to 'complete the order' (which I assume includes payment) without knowing what the shipping charges on 'very heavy boxes' will be.

Maybe if you re-pose the question...

Maybe its because people like him and I, our business is set up that we don't charge the card until the order is shipped.

And since nobody here has the capability to program a real time freight quote module, we would like to find a work-a-round.
