Transfering to New Server?!

Could someone give me some tips on moving Zen Cart to a new server? I have a local host on my laptop for testing website but when I upload the entire Zen Cart folder and install it to the new server the layout doesn't work at all... there is literally no formating... just plain text.'

This is the basic FAQ entry for moving your site to another server. But form the symptoms that you describe, I suspect that this FAQ entry may provide a specific solution.
