Is it possible to have hidden categories / products???

Hello guys,

I’m working on a project for a t-shirt shop, they would like to add a way to add nonpublic products to there cart for some of there clients that they make shirts for. Is there a way to make a category that dose not show up on the site unless you know the direct link and the products within this category would not come up in a product search, is there anything out like this yet???

Basically what’s going on is they are making shirts for health clubs and they would like to have there clients return to there site via a link and buy shirts, but my client’s main customers would not see or be able to buy these products unless they know the link.

You can put things in a category that is disabled - however, I do believe the products still show up on All Products and searches. You could do some coding to fix that.

So as far as you know there is no hack, mod or addon that will do this… ahhh coding… lol thanks for the info Kim :smile:
