CC captured but no order showed up in admin

Hello, all.

I have zen cart installed for my client. It seems like working well for a couple of weeks and the problem happens a couple of days ago.

There is one customer ordered a product and email was sent from authorize.net that cc payment captured successfully, however, I don't see any order made by that customer in admin.

There is only new customer information with no order. I have used Zen cart built in authorize.net module for payment gateway.
I tried make a test order myself after that, and it seems it is working no problem. The order was showed up in admin, and yesterday, another actual order from other customer went through no problem.

What could be the reason that one particular order from a couple of day ago wasn't show up in admin but went through authorize.net?

My client is very frustrated about this sice he is looking to use Zencart for his call center order too.
Please, help me.

Thanks!
Wookie

What version of Zen Cart ?
What patches are installed?
What addons/contributions are installed?
Which authorize.net module are you using?

It is the latest 1.3.7.1 Patched version and I didn't add any addon or contribution. Also, I didn't add any module for authorize net. I just use one already included in the Zencart.
Do I have to use a separate module for authorize.net?

Thank you in advance.

There are 2 authorize.net modules built-in to Zen Cart.
Which one are you using?

It is Authorize.net SIM

When I set it with AIM, it hangs on order confirmation and never goes through. That's why I chose SIM.

Thank you.

The AIM module is much more secure.

Try installing the utility in this post, and post the URL to where you've uploaded the unzipped file:

Also, if I have to upload authorizenet_aim.php, where should it go?

Thank you!

Re: CC captured but no order showed up in admin

The utility is working fine in non-SSL mode, but it's revealing that your server's CURL support isn't configured to work with SSL destinations.

You need to tell your hosting company that they need to recompile PHP with CURL and SSL support ... ie: so that CURL can use SSL addresses.

Sorry for all thease dumb questions. I had someoen helped me with Zen cart but he quit the job, and Zen cart is suddenly on my lap.

So could this be the problem with some order not showing up in Zen cart?Your "lost order" is ... lost. You'll have to ask the customer about the details, and whether they encountered any error messages during checkout, along with apologies for the confusion.

I'm just trying to find you a better alternative to SIM so that transactions are done more securely and just maybe this situation might not happen again.

Thank you so much. I will try as you directed.
Fortunately, I could figure out lost order based on total amount because the store has very limited number of products.

I hope this works.
Great thanks for your help.

Setting up the proxy as described should let the AIM module work fine.
