Flat Rate Shipping for some items, normal UPS ground for others.

I have a normal us site with all my items shipping UPS and the module works GREAT. I want to offer a freight deal like $2.50 flat fee if your order only contains lapel pins. I sell many things including lapel pins.

So if you order a hat and a lapel pin, you just will see the normal UPS rates.

If you order only lapel pins (as many different styles as you want) you will have a choice of $2.50 flatt fee pin pricing or UPS (In case you want overnight etc...).

The lapel pins are constrained to a certain model# RTS41?? or RTS43??. Could I use product type to help at all?

Note: Hey Ajeh, I had offered to donate a case (432) of zen cart hats for free. Love the work you all do. Did you guys ever get a decision. I just need the logo (vectored Illustrator art if possible, high res tif if not) and a ship to address. I will not charge a thing. I will even offer a high quality image for promoting the hats with donations/for sale.

You could build a look up on the cart to say if the total items in the cart is the same as the total items for those 2 model numbers and if so, then the cart only contains pins ... and if so, then show a customized flat module ... and if not, then don't show it ...

As to the hats ... still have to figure out who can manage distributing the hats ... :smile:
