Blue outline around pictures & Font issues

I'm very sorry if this has already been asked and answered but I couldn't find anything. Maybe I don't know where to look...

I just upgraded to the newest zen cart. I no longer like the look of my site for 2 main reasons.

1. There are these ugly blue outlines around all of the pictures. I know that these are links. But can I, and how do I get rid of these outlines???

2. The size of some of the text is HUGE. I can not find where to change the font size. I would also like to just get rid of some of the text.

Any help would be nice.

to get rid of the blue border around the images add the following to your stylesheet.css

img, img a {
border:none;
}

as for the other, as Kim requested we'd need a URL to your site.

Thank you with the lines thing. I miss read what you said. That is taken care of now.

But there is still the font size thing. On the front page is this huge list of "new" products... They are really not needed to be there and so big....

Any ideas?????

Also, you really need to optimize your images (I found some that were 130kb in size) This will improve the load time of your site.

I am also having this issue with blue lines around my images and I have amended my stylesheet as it says here but they are still there
does anyone have any other advice?

I use the latest version and it's a fresh install. I just installed IH2 tonight, the borders were not there prior to that but I cannot see anywhere to turn off the links, or at least make them transparent?
I HAVE gone into confugure images and made all the backgrounds transparent,
