Logo not appearing

Hi, Folks.

Hope I'm in the right forum for my question.

I'm using version 1.3.7 on a Fedora Core 6 box. This project isn't in production yet

For this particular project, I've created an animated gif, named it header_bg.gif, and put it in /var/www/html/store/includes/templates/classic/images. It seems to work fine. I've created a custom logo, named it logo.gif, and put it in the same place. But it doesn't appear, no matter what I try. Does anyone have any idea why, and what I can do to fix it?

How is the image coded. CSS or hard code, php or html.

Er, I'm embarrassed to say, but I'm not sure. Either 1) how do I that find out, or 2) what's the best (preferred, recommended, ...) way to get the logo to show?

What do you mean you don't know? You need to code in an image for it to show.
