Session For whole site

Hi all

I have a bit of a problem. I have installed ZEN cart into an existing site under the directory /store. since this site was in html I have added a customer login with PHP for no Zend cart but have used the customer table in zen cart to recored the details.

the Problem is that sessions for zen cart seem to only be around while in zen cart if move out of the store a new session id is created and removes all the session data so I can't check to see if they are still logged in.

I have looked at the admin\configure\sessions, and removed the 'Session Directory' assuming that it just use the php session dir and fiddled with a few thing but nothing.

any information would be great

First thing is, put everything in ZenCart back the way you found it. :smile:

Next, convert your html pages to EZ-Pages within ZenCart. That way, your entire site is within ZenCart so the sessions will remain constant and will always be available.

I'd then use mod_alias or mod_rewrite to point the old URLs to the new ones.
