Major Poblem with Attributes

Whenever I add an attribute to an item, the cart records the correct option name, but does not record the correct option value... No matter what I select for option value, it always puts small.

For example:
If I want to add the attribute Please Select and the color Red. The cart adds Please Select and Small (even though I told it to use Red)....:frusty:

This is a major problem. Does anyone know how to fix this???

What version of Zen Cart? The URL?

Take a look in your Option Values Manager... exactly what option names do you have defined, and what option values belong to each of them? One value cannot belong to more than one name; you need to create another instance of that value if you want to associate it with another name.

Check that you do not have duplicate products_options_values_id numbers on the products_options_values table in your database ...

Also check the products_options_values_to_products_options table and ensure that all of the products_options_values_id belong to the right products_options_id

I have many option names and values defined. I added many products correctly, then I starting adding mods.... :-(

Yes. Many. :-( That is what I am worried about. One of the mods may have caused the problem... but which one??? And how to fix it???

Without sitting down and going through your database tables and your add-ons there is really no telling by just guessing ... :cry:

The stock controller works fine, but there seems to be a problem with improved attributes.

If I find out what, I will let ya'll know. :-)
