Using Zen Cart to sell affiliate products

Hi,

I am trying to set-up a zen cart store where I would ONLY sell "affiliate products". I mean 'only' because I have no physical products to sell, but instead, I'd like to use my store to sell products for which I am an affiliate (such as amazon books, or anything else). So, the ADD TO CART function is not useful to me, because I will never have to ship any product by myself!

I am quite new to zen cart, just installed it a couple of days ago. As far as I understand, perhaps I could be using special products types... Here's what I think :

• Using EZ-pages for each product I want to 'sell' and put a big 'BUY NOW' button (instead of the add to cart) with my affiliate link hidden on it,
• Creating my new products in the DOCUMENT - GENERAL product type (where the add to cart function is totally disabled)
• Or simply creating a new Product_type that would fit my needs?

Anyone have any clues? :smartalec:
