Where can I edit...?

Hey. Im looking for some sort of list which says (for example)

New Products - Edit in Admin -->...... -- Template file includes/templates/TEMPLATE_NAME/.....

So I can easily find what page im editing, and how I can edit it?

Have a play with Admin\Tools\Developers Tool Kit. It'll help you find what's where.

It's also worth downloading Notepad++. This is a developers' text editor with automatic indenting, colouring of keywords/comments etc and linking of braces, brackets etc to help you find exactly where you are in your work.

If you're just starting out with PHP/mySQL take a look at the tutorials at w3schools.com.

All well worth the learning curve - before you have an urgent problem to fix and no time to learn how to fix it!

For ftp I recently started using FileZilla which seems to be a huge improvement over the old version of WS-FTP I'd become used to. I think perhaps I hung onto it longer than I should have!

And be sure to get a copy of The Book. (ad at the top of all forum pages)
