Shopping Cart is Empty - but it's not

I'm getting the message, "Shopping Cart is Empty", when I try to display the Shopping Cart, even though there are things in it. When I add an item to the cart, it displays that "Shopping Cart is Empty" screen, but if I look at the item itself, it tells me I have it in my cart.

The site is https://www.mountaintoseas.com. We are in the process of loading products. You should be able to find some under the Scarves or Shawls categories.

I'm on version 1.3.7, at Camelot-hosting, and here are my session settings:

Recreate Sessions was True, but I changed it to false, based on reading other threads on this issue. It didn't make any difference.

What .htaccess file should there be and how should they be set up? I know I had an issue with a different host where I tried making changes to them to fix an error, so it's possible that I don't have nice vanilla versions of those.

Do you have a custom template for tpl_shopping_cart_default.php? If so, rename the file to tpl_shopping_cart_default.php.OLD - then test your site. If it works - your template for that page is bad.
