Set number of products displayed per page (support thread)

Does anybody have any ideas about this one?

All I want to do is hide the image that is dispalying that is not relevant.

i.e.
if six products are displayed - show the "display all products" image only
if all products displayed - show the "display 6 products" image only

I am not familiar with this code, but something that stands out is that you are using:

elseif($step = 'All') {

what happens if you change that to:

elseif($step == 'All') {

I'm getting the same message. I know the admin panel is working because i changed the display values and the same values are being reflected in the developers toolkit. In all the links aren't showing up but I don't know why. Does anybody have an answer?

This would be even more awesome if it could be displayed in a dropdown! I've got it installed and will use it as is for now, though. It's a great feature!

But in the instructions it says that in order for the values to calculate correctly the number of columns per row has to be 1. Am I missing something or do I really have to display one item per row for this to work?

Another thing is that the links aren't altering the number of items per page. Any help

You would set it to 1 only if you have the row option selected. If you have the column option selected, then you can set it to what ever you want it to be per row.

does anyone have any instructions on how to remove this please? i tried reversing the installation but i lose my product display entirely?

Yes, Column Grid works on v1.3.9h. There is a minor change to product_listing.php, but it will not affect function or version compatibility.

The numbers for products per page are showing up wrong... I have "10,15,20,All" but it is showing up as "12 15 21 All".

It says in the readme about changing the Layout Style is set to rows or something but it's not that clear and I don't quite understand.

I have the following settings...

Product Listing - Layout Style columns
Product Listing - Columns Per Row 3

yeh I had that too, you need to make you settings divisible by 3 as you have 3 columns, I use the following 15,30,45,All and it works fine.

I'll go with that for now.. but I have seen other sites with 3 column layouts with 10,15,20 and so on... such as this site

Has anyone added this mod to the "new listings" page? The instructions say it possible... I really just want to add an "all" link to my new products listing. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

yes, it is possible. I was able to do it by installing the Single Listing Template. This mod only works if you have column layout grid installed. But it essentially makes your Specials, New Products, Featured Products & All Products the same as your Product Listing

i'm noticing that with an SEO URI module installed, this module doesn't work. I've changed the "&" in set_num_products.php to a "?" That fixed that problem, but i'm having issues with the module working at all (with or without SEO) - using 1.3.9h. I'll be going through all the installation again to make sure i got everything, but the max_display doesn't seem to be registering and $max_results is not coming up as defined.

of course, turns out i, for some reason, had made an override of products_listing.php (who knows why....), but it's defining now. next, i'll work on getting a dropdown to work.

Alrighty then... I got this figured out and working. Now besides making it a drop down (still wanted) how can I make this text display in bold, a different color and spaced away from the "Displaying X to XX (of XX products"? I assume it is in the CSS somewhere.
