Charter Bussing

I'm setting up a site for my buddy who does charter busing. He wants me to hide the categories and sub-categories from view and make direct links available to chosen clients. I'm using specific trip as a product and the sub-category as the type of trip. Is there a simple way to do this?

If you don't want any categories to show, you can turn off the categories sidebox in Tools > Layout Boxes Controller.

I've setup this feature. I'm not sure how to create links to subcategories and the contained products included in those subcategories.

Maybe what you want is the hideCategory mod available in Downloads. It was created for the purpose of showing specific categories only to specific users.
