Help Please..... cc vs authnet not displaying

I am very new to Zen, and have a question about payment mods.

Is the CC mod required for the Authorizenet (AIM) module to work?

If I disable the CC mod, during checkout no option for
credit card purchase is active.

When it is active orders seem to process through the CC mod. & not authorizenet. This the customer beleieves the purchase was good, yet the money never gets to authorizenet.

Any suggestions? Paypal mod worke perfectly.

The CC module is independent of any other module. Authorize.net modules don't depend on it in order to work.

If your authorize.net module is not appearing during checkout, then you've most likely set a zone in its settings and thus causing it to be restricted from display.

I'm sort of having the same problem. Im using the Authorize.net (AIM) and the cc mod is not installed. Myself and another person on another internet access can go to the cart, login, make a purchase, however, I have had several people email me and tell me that they can not put in their credit card information.
Which settings do I adjust to fix this? Thanks :smile:

What do they really mean when they're saying that?
Are they saying that the CC number they entered was rejected?
Or are they saying that they saw no spot to enter a CC number?
What CC type were they trying to use? Do you accept that kind of card? Do you have that kind of card enabled in Admin->Configuration->Credit Cards? Does your merchant account let you accept that kind of credit card?

they are saying that they can not see the field areas to input their credit card information.

I dont have any cc mod other than authorize.net (aim) and check/money order selected as payment options. I intend on adding paypal soon, but not until I can get the authorize net working properly.

I have had 3 people with sucess in seeing the fields and are able to add their number to them (all in one state), and many others that can not see the fields are from other areas of the country.

The authorize.net payment module either shows its CC fields, or doesn't show itself at all.
The only reason it will not show is if you have something disabling the module, such as a zone restriction.

What zone do you have configured inside your AIM module settings ?

I went in and for some reason it said a single state, so I put it to none. I think that should clear it up.

I am having the same problem, but I don't have any zones identified our selected in the module settings. The CC fields don't show up. All I see is "We Accept: Visa MC" and "Credit Card" . Is there anything other than Zones that would cause this?

i am having same issue, when choose only authorize.net AIM, it does not display any payment form fields at all
