Removing Discount Coupon box from Checkout Payment Method - Step 2

I have not set up any discounts or coupons, have made sure that the Discount Coupon is set to off off (3) in the Define Page Status in Config, but the option to fill out the discount soupon is still there in the payment.

Do I hack the code to get it out, or is there a place / setting that I have missed?

Any suggestions most appreciated :smile:

hmm... just found out that if you click the uninstall for these then you CAN NOT reinstall them if you want to, unlick the payment and shipping modues ....

So, how do you reinstall them - can any body help?

All you do is click on what module you want to install and hit the Install button ...

um, yes, that is how I thought it worked, but instead, under the Gift Certificate/Coupons heading, in the drop down box, it says, Not installed - there are not any other options at all!

I also uploaded the whole of the admin folder, thinking it may have deleted files, but still got the same thing, so I am guessing, that when you choose to uninstall, there are DB entries that are deleted in the config table .....

thats no problem...simply go back to admin > modules > order total and select which one, coupons or gift certificates you want re installed. Should set up from there. Then you will be able to go back to gift certificates/coupons and customise.
