problem with zencart going over my e-mails/hour limmit
Today I needed to send out an e-mail to all of my customers of which there are 286 of them right now. My hosting company has set a limmit of 200 e-mails per hour so when i tried to send that e-mail of course 86 or more of them got rejected by the mail server even before they went out.
Now i understand that hosting companies don't want people using there servers to send spam or dont want people clogging up there bandwidth, however as a business i need a way to send e-mails to my entire client list when important announcements come up.
My question is whether or not there is a mod out there (or some other method) that could break up my list of customers and send like 100 of them per hour till it had gone through the list instead of just trying to send them all at once?
my service provider suggested some advertising type firm that did this type of work but i dont want to give my customer lists to anyone also or use a third party, i want to be in control of sending the e-mails.
help!
