Shipping, Free for some, different countries

OK spent a couple hours working on this and reading the forums, and I think I'm missing something obvious:

Would like to charge $0 shipping if shipping to Canada and the order is over $50. Would like to charge $10 to Canada if under $50.

Would like to charge $20 shipping to US if order under $100, $10 for $100-500 and free over $500

Would like to charge $20 shipping to UK if order under $500, $10 for $500 to $1000 and 0 for over $1000.

Some items are always free shipping no matter where.

Now:
Have enabled zone rates:
Zone 1
CA
Zone 1 Shipping table
10:49,0:9999
Zone 2
US
Zone 2 Shipping table
20:49,10:499,0:9999
Zone 3
UK
Zone 2 Shipping table
20:500,10:999,0:9999

And have enabled FREE SHIPPING!

Help please. So frustrating to be so close yet so far. Thank you very much in advance.

For the UK use GB ...

If a Product is Always Free Shipping everywhere, then mark it as Always Free Shipping and turn on the Free Shipping freeshipper ...

Oh thanks re the GB that helps.

Have Freeshipper on, that works fine. However, orders under $50 to Canada, for example, are showing up as free shipping.

So I changed these around (whoops) and still items which are less than $50 are showing up as free shipping, as are items shipping to other countries.

Products Shipping Weight are all 0.

And the setting in your Shipping/Packaging for:

Order Free Shipping 0 Weight Status
If there is no weight to the order, does the order have Free Shipping?
0= no
1= yes

Note: When using Free Shipping, Enable the Free Shipping Module this will only show when shipping is free.

Glad you found the solution to your Free Shipping issue was having the 0 weight setting set to mean Free Shipping in the Shipping/Packaging settings ... :smile:
