Stock control - listing multiple items as one

G'day,

We sell a bunch of individual items and then we sell sets of items. So you can buy a 12 product set at a reduce price. Is it possible within ZenCart to track stock in this way?

For example, we sell a 12 piece set, and stock is reduced on each of the 12 items in the set. Is that possible?

Cheers,

Callum.

Check the stock-by-attributes module by kuroi in the downloads/other section

Re: Stock control - listing multiple items as one

Thanks for the tip. I've checked the description of that module, it says you can keep multiple stock levels by attribute. For example, sizes. However, that's not quite what I'm looking for. When a customer purchases 1 item, I'm looking for the stock to be reduced over 12 items.

So the product they're buying is really a group or set of other products. Does anyone know if this module, or another module, will do the trick?

Cheers - Callum.

Re: Stock control - listing multiple items as one

You would create a set product with 12 attributes (or more) as say radio buttons and the shopper would tick off the 12 they wanted and the stock of the attribute would be reduced

Or if a predifined set then the stock for each would be reduced

Do not get caught up in the terms like size, color as this can also be item1 item 2 item3 etc
