Table rate showing £0.00 if over maximum rate defined
Hi, I'm using the table rate for Royal Mail 1st class packets and the maximum I wish to ship by them is 10 Kg. If I put items in my shopping cart that are 14kg the royal mail table rate just shows 14 kg = £0.00 instead of saying this option isn't available.
If the item is over 10 kg the courier prices should still remain and the royal mail (table rate) should say it isn't possible to ship that weight please choose another method.
I set the maximum weight that I will ship in configuration>shipping to 30 kg as the couriers max weight is 30kg and when the shopping cart exceeds that surely it should say we cannot ship that weight or theres no point in that option, at the moment it just comes up with some random price.
If there are any errors please could you point me in the right direction otherwise, please could you help me set this up, I know it should be a simple if statement in the royal mail files but I don't know how to do that in php.
