Copying a single attribute

I know that I must be missing something here but maybe not.

I have hundreds of products. They all have the same attributes but the attribute values are not all the same for all attributes. There are a couple of attributes though that are the same for all. I need to copy the identical attributes to all products. If I use the attribute controller though and select a product that is completely setup and then do a "copy", it will copy ALL attribute values of the selected product to all the products. That screws up the attributes with different values. I need to copy only ONE of the attribute names and values to the other products. Is there a way to do this?

Well, I somewhat figured this out but still doesn't work for what I need. I went the "Attribute Value" list and found that I could copy that attribute to all products with a different attribute. That seems to work OK except you can only move one value at a time. The problem though is that this particular attribute uses images and the images do not get copied to the other products.
