Confused about Linking to a Category page

I am sure this is simple in some way, but I am stuck.

We have an an old website where we sell these original LIFE magazines. I have set up and new ZenCart site to sell these, and want to link to the appropriate category. I think I understand copying the ZenCart URL and making the link at the old site, but instead of going to the category, the link takes me to my home page.

Just describing it is confusing to me, so here it is live.

The link text is: Click here to go directly to the First Life Magazines (1883 - 1936)

I would expect this to take me directly to the LIFE magazine category on 2neat.com, but it actually dumps me to my ZenCart home page.

But if I copy and paste:

http://2neat.com/magazines/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2

into a fresh browser window, I go to the LIFE category page.

So, something is going on that I do not get. Is there some other way to correctly reference a Category page?
