In older version it has there was a backup button in admin for the database i think, it is not on new one, so how do you back stuff up now?

I installed the add on a locally hosted website in my lapyop and got this message. Any ideas what I need to do?

I always use phpmyadmin to backup, export / import my DB n I think thats cool enough, n safer than installing new addons that I don't understand
