back to the zencart drawing board

dbltoe:

Most all can be done in the admin portion of Zencart.
I scoured the layout settings to find a way to get rid of the yellow link box last night and couldn't find it.
I had another go again today I still cannot find it that is why I posted for help.

The configure> ezpages shows me how to turn off the link (thanks) but I would like to edit the links.

I don't want to turn off the left right banner box as I added it for the purpose of showing my own image.
It works fine on the old installation storerevolution.com/cart as there was only one image assigned to that banner box.
On my new install it has 3 images and a script.

BTW, have you looked at your site in a resolution like 800x600 or 1024x768? I ask because yours is one of the only sites I can read without my trifocals:D

Something you might try is changing in your stylesheet to

Note how the larger the H number, the smaller the text. I think you'll find things will look "more gooderer" that way.:yes:

I also always add this to the bottom of my stylesheet.css

I looked at the store through firefox and IE and of course the font looked too big but so did the zencart forum!!!

I think it is a personal preference on the part of the PC user?

thanks for the "justify tip"

and the other suggestions..................

The yellow you are looking for is in your stylesheet here:

#navEZPagesTop {

background-color: #ffff33;

}

Firefox Web Developers Tools add-on is great for finding these things. :yes:

hallelujiah :yes:

to switch off the yellow box I needed to set the value of the "EZ pages display status - Headerbar' to "0" in configuration > EZ Pages setting.

Re: back to the zencart drawing board

You can turn off all of the links in the footer nav bar (except for HOME), in
Admin/Tools/EZ-Pages, and create your own there.

If you want ...say...Contact Us or Shipping & Returns there, that would be an
internal link. An external link would be to a html page outside the cart. And
you can create your EZ Page using the HTML area of the EZ Page you're
creating. You can only use one of the three methods for creating an EZ Page.

EZ Pages require a sort order #, also.

Hope that helps!
