Password for certain customers

Does anyone out there know how I can configure the zencart so that only customers that enter a certian password can get into the site? I want the site to only be accessible to wholesale customers and I would like them to get a window that prompts them for a password or code of some kind...

Install zencart into it's own directory i.e. store
Place htaccess file into that directory, which
contains username and password to enter..
