fatal error in Image Handler 2

I have installed IH2 , following the instructions exactly, but i got an error under Preview :

Fatal error: imagepng() [<a href='function.imagepng'>function.imagepng</a>]: gd-png: fatal libpng error: zlib error in .../includes/classes/bmz_image_handler.class.php on line 646

does anyone know how to fix this??
