changing template - how do i upload a template?

i have zen 1.3.7 installed but i want to change the template to a different one how do i upload them to my shop as i cant seem to work it out i want to use either the cherry zen or purple lily template but instructions that come with them are not clear please help:cry:

You should upload the folders/files matching folder on your website, so if the folder/file is in includes\templates, it goes into the includes\templates folder on your website.

Either unzip ZC onto your local drive so the structure is clearer to you or look at it on your website using your FTP client.

I am new to zencart. I followed all the 4 steps exactly for changing the template - I am switching from classic green to slovak classic. After completing all the 4 steps when I check my store, all I see is a blank white page. Could you please help?
