only 1 payment module

In Zen Cart, if there is only one available payment module, there are no radio buttons. The one module IS selected as default.

i have 2 option one is by credit card and other is payment by money order. by default credit card should be on. i have remove the fields of credit card. only radio button there.

I need this as well but with the protx payment method selected.
I have a store with a intermittenet bug where it allows a doscount coupon to "pay" for the order (i.e a coupon set up with a 40% discount- pays for an entrire order and the order payment type is gift coupon - see thread here http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44876 ). I cannot replicat this but it has happened several times with different customers and seems to be when the payment type is not selected by accident. I think this could be resolved by having a payment method "pre" selected.
I am just not 100% sure what to change in the code to allow this to happen.

Which seems to answer this query - however it is defaulting to the cheuq even thourgh my other sort module has a sort order of 0 and the cheque module is a sort order of 500...
