is there a a side box or a way to make a side box with a list of all the manufactures we deal with like this site??

As a start, you could enable the manufacturers sidebox, and then go to Admin->Configuration->Maximum Values, and set the "Manufacturers List - Scroll Box Size/Style" value to a larger number, perhaps 25 ?
Otherwise you'll have to write custom code to display your list of manufacturers similar to a category sidebox.

if i was to enter some code into the empty side box that would do a simular thing right??
