can't view orders in admin

Hi. I am almost ready to go live with my site and was placing test orders when i noticed that none of them are showing in the "orders" section of admin or "new orders" column in the admin index page. however, i am receiving email confirmations to both admin and my test user and i can manually type in the order number from the orders page and view it. Has anyone experienced this?

FYI i installed 2 addons one being the improved attributes controller and the other was add customers from admin.

any advice would be appreciated greatly

Edit: also to note is the orders box on the admin index page (where it has pending, processing, etc...) does show the number of orders correctly

Well I finally figured it out, and wow I wasted sooo much time. I went through and winmerged the whole site with no help, reinstalled zencart - was working fine, then stopped working AGAIN!...

I was ready to throw the pc out the window...

Bottom line is that in my quest to make zen cart fit "what I was trying to do" I foolishly thought that turning off the "order totals --> Total" module was helping. This seems to have been the problem the whole time.

Moral of the story: If I would have hit the message boards BEFORE something went wrong I would have seen how someone already accomplished what I was trying to do, and not wasted hours of my time (and nearly gone insane) in the process.

The Order Total Module for Total ot_total is actually a trigger module for the display on the orders.php and without the field, the order will not show except via a search ...
