Tools Template Selection Preview No Show - permission denied

I uploaded a template (Acadame v 1.2) to use instead of the default template.
Problem is that when I do preview from Admin, Tools: Template Selection: Preview,
I get:
" You don't have permission to access includes/templates/iC_AcadameV1.2/images/ on this server. "
I set the images to chmod 777. Is there something else when I upload a template I should change to 777 ?

I can bring up part of the template from the web accessing it by typing in the URL. But the side bars, currency bar and language bar do not show up.

Does this happen if you try to preview other templates?

No,
the only other template that shows in admin templates is the green template that came with zen cart. I can do a preview of it ok in admin and when accessed on the web by going to the dot com thirstyrock, it is all there like in preview.
