SSL in IIS

Hi,

My store is almost ready to go, im having trouble getting the SSL setup.

I not taking payments on the site, but taking the detail which i will then process in the office.

So i need the payment page to be secure so that the credit card details are ok.

I have a verisign ssl sert installed.

I have activated ssl in the 2 config files and entered the corresponding https addresses.

The problem is, when im activating the ssl in IIS (Using the properties > directory security > Secure communications >edit route) Suddenly the whole store gets locked out.

It says that i should try it with https rather than http, but that doesnt work. Also it only needs to actually go to https on the checkout and admin.

Im a bit confused.

If anyone has been able to set it up on IIS any help would be great...

Should have replied to this a while ago. Problem was all sorted.

Firewall at the servers end was not allowing certain data through on a certain port that was screwing up the SSL side of things. The hosting company sorted it out and it started owrking straight away...
